SWU Members have had resounding successes and progress in fighting for their rights in 2023.

  • an online content creator won legal compensation after shared content was sold without their consent or knowledge

  • A stripper won a successful worker status case at a workplace tribunal against a strip club in Edinburgh

  • Protests organised against Edinburgh SEV Nil-Cap, members spoke at the official hearing

  • Crowd funded 21k towards successful legal challenge against Edinburgh City Council’s Nil-Cap

  • Spoke at the Inverness SEV Decision, and no Nil-Cap was implemented

  • Successful campaign against an SEV Nil-Cap in Bristol
